Four years ago I committed to becoming a yoga teacher so I could share the gift of yoga, my experiences and my lessons with others. After my first Yoga Tune Up® workshop, my focus changed or perhaps "aligned". Yoga Tune Up® made so much sense. I am proudly a graduate of the Yoga Tune Up® Level 1 Teacher Training and Yoga Tune Up® Therapy Ball Practitioner courses.
I teach a vinyasa flow intermingled with Yoga Tune Up®, to create safe, healthy functional movement classes that are accessible to all levels through skilful adjustments and posture modifications. I want my students to realize their bodies can do amazing things, no matter what size or shape they are in. Learning to let go of fixating on our limitations and exploring our strengths. I want to empower you to improve your health and well-being through a personal movement practice to obtain optimal physical function. More is not always better. When you know the body and understand how and why it moves the way it does, you are able to come at poses from the inside out, rather than from the outside in.
Through exploring, questioning, learning, laughing and, of course, a huge dose of rolling, we can ultimately find joy and greater mobility.
